From Humble Roots to a Blossoming Vision
What began as a small landscaping venture founded by Delilah Scott has flourished into one of the most trusted names in floral and garden services. A proud graduate of East Central High School and Cincinnati State with a degree in Turfgrass Management and Landscape Horticulture, Delilah combined her love of the outdoors with a passion for design and service. Her commitment to quality and creativity has shaped iFlowers to India into more than just a business — it is a destination for beauty, connection, and inspiration.
Our Journey
iFlowers to India started by offering residential landscaping and limited commercial work, supported by a small garden center where customers could purchase mulch, topsoil, and gravel. As the business grew, so did its mission.
In 2007, to keep the garden center thriving during the slower winter months, Delilah opened a flower shop. That same year, she and her team expanded and redesigned the pond at the front of the property, enhancing both its size and visual appeal — every stone around the pond was hand-placed, even through bitter winter conditions. This dedication became a symbol of the care we bring to every project.
Expanding with Purpose
2008 marked a turning point. We introduced a wide variety of plants, including trees, annuals, and perennials. Encouraged by community support and growing demand, we added even more selections the following year and began improving the landscape and structure of the garden center itself.
In response to this growth, we added a hand-built stone bridge over the pond and undertook larger-scale winter projects that would serve customers year-round.
By 2011, it was clear we had outgrown our original space. We renovated the interior, transforming an old garage area into a spacious and welcoming showroom. This included a beautiful floral design studio and a curated selection of gifts and home décor.
In spring 2013, a new pergola was built to house our ever-popular hanging baskets. This vibrant display added both function and charm to the garden center.
Honoring the Past While Building the Future
One of our most cherished additions is an authentic 1850s log cabin, lovingly restored on our property. Originally located in Bright, Indiana, Delilah carefully dismantled and rebuilt the cabin over two years, completing it in 2014. Inside, a hand-chiseled stone fireplace — salvaged from another historic cabin near Laughery Creek — adds character and warmth. This space now serves as a visual centerpiece and symbol of our deep-rooted respect for craftsmanship and heritage.
Always Growing with You
In 2017, we once again expanded both our showroom and garden center. New departments for home décor, gifts, and wild bird supplies were introduced, along with a unique fairy garden and terrarium bar where customers can create their own miniature landscapes. That same year, we launched our newly redesigned website to better connect with customers and provide inspiration, guidance, and convenience.
In 2018, the iFlower Gift Store officially opened, offering year-round access to floral creations, specialty gifts, and seasonal décor. This expansion provided our floral designers with the space to bring their art to life and gave customers a welcoming environment to explore something beautiful in every season.
